Tuesday - Day Twelve

Best title yet.

This day begun with preparing the bears' ice cream, but it was easier than usual as I developed a better technique with the majority of yogurt pots.
  • Open the top
  • Turn upside down
  • Stab knife into the bottom of the pot
  • Air releases and yogurt pops out with ease
That completing relatively quickly, we moved the crates into the freezer and looked lost for a while. We were then instructed, in as little words as possible, to moves random bits of metal and large sticks from the mound of earth in the centre of the trenches into a pile just to the side... for... neatness? That's cool, I like it when things are neat.

Been unsure of the entirety of what to do for the twelfth day, I decided to start clearing the leaves as well with the nearby rake. Since the other day involved clearing leaves from the same area, it made sense to clear them before they block the gullies.

Following this, lunch seem appropriate. We decided to eat outside as it was sunny day and the room we normally eat tends to keep our food cold a bit to easily. Interesting as this idea may have been, trying to find a comfortable spot to sit down was equally contrasted with a lack of activity to watch; no bears in sight. Finishing our food, we completed our lunch break with a little walk around one of the enclosures with our cameras. There wasn't a plethora of animals in sight but I took a few good landscape shots (ones I will upload when I get my netbook working again... or a new one(?) ).

Getting back to the building, we were just in time to find the arrival of more food. Aided by the other workers we worked through the lot quickly and finished by about 2:30pm. No more deliveries due, we packed our things and started walking out. As we were not due to be picked up for a while, we took our time, walking slowly, taking photos and sitting by the tree at the entrance, looking out at the mountains and just enjoying the view.

When we got back to the flat, we chilled, recuperated, half napped (eyes closed, lying down, not actually asleep), watched a couple of films, ate, watched TV, wrote some things down.
