Saturday Chill - Day Nine

It was fairly relaxing day.

In the morning I waited for my clothes to dry from the wash and then in the afternoon we headed out to take a look at the local Orthodox churches. We then walked around town for a little while and headed back to the apartment.

After some chilling at the apartment, we headed out to the nearby Romanian restaurant for tea. I chose the same thing as what I had at the other Romanian restaurant, schnitzel with peasant potatoes. It was a good choice but I'll try and pick something different next time to get some variety. Service was okay but the time spent waiting for food was a little bit ridiculous. The quantity of food wasn't particular large either so having dessert was the appropriate option. I chose to try the fried dumplings. Very sweet. Was similar to eating doughnuts with cherries and cream.

Upon reading about my experience at this restaurant, it isn't exceptionally positive but overall it wasn't terrible, just not amazing.

After eating, we headed to a bar/pub to have a drink whilst waiting to meet Razvan a little later on. It was previously named something to do with Scotland but that's not especially important, I just can't remember the actual name of the place. Maybe I'll make a note of it next time. Inside the place is a series of TVs placed around on the wall all showing different things, primarily sports which is why I like it so much! This night also had a woman sitting at the bar, picking songs on the laptop and then singing into her mic. They were songs we could recognise and she was a fairly good singer as well.

Following this, we headed into the town centre to meet up with Razvan and Marian and their female companions leading to us moving onto another bar to hang out.

Was a good day.
